You don't have to dive very deep into the internet to find arguments about the issue of camera bans at concerts.
I never could, and I still haven't figured out what we are supposed to do with crappy photos. Our electronic devices are so limited in these situations. Besides, you will sacrifice part of the concert and the magic of being there just for trying to take a decent picture. I mean, that is what photographers are!
Honestly, you are not going to get any decent photos anyway. I'm sure you will see people trying to take photos with the goofy little flash going off, as if that is going to light a stage hundreds of feet away. If you do insist on taking your camera, TURN THE FLASH OFF. It is the FLASH that is most annoying to the performers and others at the show. If you turn it OFF and learn how to try to take photos without it, you will probably not have any problems. If your camera has a viewfinder, use that. Turn the monitor OFF. Those things stand out like a sore thumb in an audience.
At the end, if you are going to a concert, just enjoy the show.
Relax and allow your senses to be lifted!
